American cockroach, Periplaneta Americana (L.) lives both inside and outside of the structure. In outdoor, they are more abundant in sewer systems. Indoors, which inhabit mostly in food preparation and storage areas, but they are not common as German cockroaches. They are most commonly found around steam and heating pipes, basements around the pipes, wet floor drains and in places which associated with high temperature and humidity. They are carrying many human pathogens because the insect’s habit of feeding and harbouring in damp and unsanitary places such as sewers, garbage disposals and bathrooms.
