Flies

Filth flies are group of flies which includes House Fly (Musca domestica), Blow Flies (Calliphoridae spp.), Flesh Flies (Sarcophagidae spp.), Stable Fly (Stomoxys calcitrans), Cluster Fly (Pollenia rudis), Fruit Flies (Drosophila spp.), Phorid Flies (Phoridae sp.), Drain Flies (Psychodidae spp.) and Fungus Gnats (Sciaridae and Fungivoridae spp.). They are breeding in decaying organic matter in garbage, animal bedding and human excrement, when sanitary conditions inadequate. Filth flies are primarily nuisance to human and acting as a carrier of numerous pathogens that cause disease like shigellosis, cholera, and poliomyelitis in humans as well as other animals.
